1. Covered data and services
You may request deletion of your data in our services, including information received through the ViciousByte Meta app and Facebook or WhatsApp interactions under our control. You do not need a ViciousByte account to submit a request concerning those interactions.
2. Submit your request
Write to contacto@viciousbyte.com with the subject "Data deletion — ViciousByte". Describe the data or interaction you want deleted and how we should contact you with our response.
For Facebook, include a comment or post link and the profile name you used. For WhatsApp, provide the number you used to contact us and the approximate conversation date. For a ViciousByte account, write from its associated email or provide a reference that helps locate it.
Provide only what is needed to identify your data. Do not send passwords, tokens, card details or identity documents without a specific request. If proof of identity or representation is needed, we will explain what information is required and how to provide it.
3. Review and response
Requests are handled through our privacy contact channel; this page does not perform automatic deletion. We will review your identity, the scope and whether deletion is appropriate, and communicate the outcome through your indicated contact method.
We will handle the request under applicable statutory timeframes and requirements. If data must be retained under a legal obligation or is outside our control, we will explain the reason and the extent of what we can do.
4. Retention and backups
Deletion may require separating data that are no longer needed from records that must be retained for tax or legal obligations or pending claims. Backups may retain information temporarily during their retention cycle and must be considered when handling the request.
5. Data remaining on other platforms
A request to ViciousByte does not itself delete posts, comments, messages, copies or accounts held by Meta or other participants. To delete original Facebook or WhatsApp content, also use those platforms' privacy controls and channels.
If you previously authorized a Meta integration, you may revoke its permissions in the relevant settings. Revocation stops authorized access that depends on those permissions, but does not delete data already retained; request deletion through the contact channel above.
